The project Podron – with the title derived from the words “podcast” and “tadron” (“theater” in Armenian) – brings together artists to perform Armenian playwrights’ plays, some of which are only preserved in archives while others have been staged recently in Istanbul, in Turkish and Armenian.

With Podron, which can be considered as a new generation radio theatre, we bring a selection of scripts produced in the Ottoman and the Republic era into the digital medium.
