Connect for ImpAct: Field Visits and Eskişehir Workshop

As part of the "Connect for ImpAct" project, during our preliminary research and field visits, we conducted one-on-one meetings with a total of 37 institutions, including local government units, non-governmental organizations, and cultural and art institutions in Mersin, Adana, Eskişehir, and Diyarbakır. In these meetings, we focused on the needs, barriers, and potential collaborations identified by the institutions in their areas of work.

Following the field visits, the first activity of the project, "Capacity Building and Idea Development Workshop," took place in Eskişehir on October 25-26-27.
In a comprehensive three-day workshop facilitated by Nil Dalehaye and Naci Emre Boran, we got together with a total of 24 representatives from local government units, non-governmental organizations, and cultural and artistic institutions at the Eskişehir Haller Youth Center.
After the sessions we conducted focusing on positionality, identity, intersectionality, and creative intervention, working groups were formed among the participating institutions. These groups developed collaborative ideas addressing shared needs and issues specific to Eskişehir, concentrating on inter-sectoral cooperation.
To support the concretization of the ideas developed by the working groups, we conducted sessions on problem identification, actor mapping, risk analysis, activity planning, and communication strategies.
The next activity of the project will continue with a workshop in Adana, scheduled for mid-October.
